I developed a passion for skincare aged 21 when I was diagnosed with rosacea and desperate to understand how to improve it. I became fascinated in the science of skin and skincare, spending the next 10 years researching and learning, giving my friends advice, and in 2019 becoming a mentor in Caroline Hirons’ infamous ‘Skincare Freaks’ Facebook community.
After transforming the skin of 50+ women, I felt inspired to create an Instagram page to share my knowledge a little wider and educate as many people as I could on how to look after their skin.
In 2020, in the midst of Covid, @skndividual was born - with the mission to simplify skincare one post at a time.
My Canva design skills were extremely questionable but I’m forever proud of the content I created, the people I helped, and for growing my page to 2,000 followers in less than a year. Linked below.
